Mr Robert Rooks is Deloitte China's National Financial Services Industry Clients and Markets Leader as well as Banking & Securities Sector Leader in Hong Kong and a member of Deloitte's Banking and Securities Global Executive Committee.

Mr Rooks is responsible for leading the development of the firm's capabilities to provide a full range of professional services to the Banking & Securities sector. He has led various projects in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Thailand, Malaysia and Mongolia, advising banks on organisational restructuring, technology and regulatory risk management, market analytics and new market entrance.

Having held consulting, advisory and management leadership roles in the UK, U.S., Switzerland, Japan, Korea and now in Hong Kong where he has been based for the last eight years, Robert has rich experience in advising regulators, depositories, clearing houses exchanges, MNCs and financial services organisations regionally on market entrance, infrastructure and operational transformation efficiency initiatives.
