INTRODUCTION

In view of the imminent threat posed by Bird Flu in neighbouring countries and the mainland, the Association has set up a special Task Force to deal with the possible scenario of future infection. Led by Mr Timothy Fong, Assistant Director, the Task Force comprises of representatives from various departments.

The Task Force will monitor and assess the impact caused by the infection, providing up-to-date information to HKMA members, staff and course participants, as well as coordinating internal efforts with external parties.

This website has been set up to help members, staff and course participants keep abreast of the development of the infection and to be informed of the special arrangements made by the Association in cases of emergency.

The success of the Task Force requires your support and co-operation. The Task Force wishes to remind all HKMA members, staff and programme participants to remain vigilant, maintain good personal hygiene, and continue to keep our offices and training centres clean.
