Speaker: Professor Norma Harrison

 

Professor Norma J. Harrison has over 35 years of experience as an academic at various universities and 30 years of experience in consulting to industry and government agencies. She is Professor of Management at Macquarie Business School, Sydney, and has served as Acting Dean in Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM). Prior to this, she was the Foundation Head of the Graduate School of Business at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS). Between 2008-2010, she spent three years at the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS) in Shanghai and Beijing as Professor of Operations Management.  Professor Harrison has served as the President of the Decision Sciences Institute and is on the Board of the Production and Operations Management Society. Her research focus includes strategic supply chain and innovation management, and she has published in journals such as the Journal of Operations Management and Journal of Supply Chain Management.
