THE HKMA CELEBRATES THE 10TH CONSECUTIVE YEAR OF PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF WALES TRINITY SAINT DAVID 1/8/2018
The Hong Kong Management Association celebrated its 10th the University of Wales Trinity Saint David at the MBA Launching Ceremony held on Tuesday, 26 June 2018 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Launching Ceremony took place at the luncheon of the HKMA`s Award for Excellence in Training and Development - Seminar on "Benchmark Your Training and Development Practices with Some of the Excellent Organizations" and was attended by over 350 business leaders, HR practitioners and alumni. At the event, Professor Haslett Pro Vice-Chancellor (International and Enhancement) of the University of Wales Trinity Saint David highlighted that, "the MBA and DBA are key programmes for companies and organizations in all sectors because it offers opportunities to develop individual qualifications that lead to professional development. It also enables the companies that support and fund their staff to take an MBA or DBA to conduct company assessments and research at a level that can be more cost effective than hiring research consultants." ![]() ![]() The HKMA has cooperated with the University of Wales Trinity Saint David since 2009 and the Association and University together have collaboratively launched a DBA in April 2017 which has already welcomed three intakes of students to the programme. Website: www.hkma.org.hk/uwdba ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY OF WALES TRINITY SAINT DAVID The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) was formed on 18 November 2010 through the merger of the University of Wales Lampeter and Trinity University College Carmarthen, under Lampeter`s Royal Charter of 1828. The UWTSD is the oldest Royal Chartered University after Oxford and Cambridge in Wales and England, with HRH Prince of Wales being the University`s Royal Patron. It also became the newest university in 2013 when Swansea Metropolitan University merged into the institution.
