IntroductionThe taxation course will provide thorough understanding of principles and practical tax management relating to both individuals and business in the Hong Kong environment. This certificate course is designed to extend students' knowledge of the law and practice of Hong Kong taxation in relation to Hong Kong labour law and employment ordinance. In particular, it applies knowledge to tax planning, in both domestic and international context. Besides, this course also provides a critical evaluation of the usefulness of accounting data in financial statements and financial analysis in decision contexts such as valuation, investment, and credit decisions.
