Advanced Diploma in  Criminal Justice

Introduction
The Association has organized the Professional Diploma in Disciplinary Force Management since 1999 and provided training to hundreds of disciplinary officers coming from the Hong Kong Police Force, the Fire Services Department, the Customers and Exercise Department, the ICAC and etc. Among the participants, many have received promotion. In view of the success of the programme, the Association has recently organized the Advanced Diploma in Criminal Justice, with the key objective to upgrade the academic qualification of disciplinary officers.

Designed for
The programme targets the graduates of the Professional Diploma in Disciplinary Force Management or other related diplomas.

Programme Structure

This programme will last for 10 months. It consists of three modules and each module will each run for 40 hours. The entire programme must be completed in one year.

AD1 Organizational Behavior
AD2 Public Security in the Mainland
AD3 Criminal Justice

Award of Diploma and Recognition
Participants who have successfully completed three modules of the programme will be awarded the Advanced Diploma in Criminal Justice by the Association, which is recognized by the Tarlac State University of the Philippines. Participants who further studies in the University and successfully complete the project will be awarded the Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice by the University.

Entry Requirements
Applicants must be:
graduates of the Professional Diploma in Disciplinary Force Management; or
graduates of other related diploma courses; and
in the possession of 2 or more years working experience in Disciplinary Force Management or other related experience.

Advancement Path
Graduates of the Advanced Diploma in Criminal Justice can follow the following advancement path provided by the Association to further studies and acquire the Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminal Justice. For details, please contact Ms Ann Poon on 2774 8576 or Ms Candy Ho on 2774 8554.

The programme commences in June each year, and the application deadline is normally 2 weeks prior to the commencement date.
