Professional Diploma in
Investment and Financial Risk Management
The
recent financial turmoil and currencies crises in Asia, Russia
and Latin America have seen enormous wealth evaporated in a
very short time. Exposure to market risks, if poorly monitored,
can bring about huge losses to both companies and individual
investors. To address the problem, the Association has designed
this part-time diploma course aiming at providing a complete
discussion of the investment functions and operations of the
treasury and foreign exchange, various paper-based financial
products such as derivatives, futures and options, and an easy-to-understand
method for calculating and controlling market risks including
simple market calculations, effective trading strategies and
risk analysis.
