The HKMA Celebrates Naming of the Dr Kennedy Y H Wong Management Development Centre

You are cordially invited to attend or send a representative of your organization to cover the cheque presentation ceremony of the Dr Kennedy Y H Wong Management Development Centre.

The Hong Kong Management Association has recently received a major donation of
HK$1 million from Dr Kennedy Y H Wong, Managing Partner of Philip K H Wong Kennedy Y H Wong & Co, Solicitors and Notaries.

In recognition of his magnanimous contribution, the Association's management development centre at the First Commercial Building in Causeway Bay will be named Dr Kennedy Y H Wong Management Development Centre.
The cheque presentation ceremony will be held

The ceremony will be officiated by Dr David K P Li, Chairman of the Association and attended by guests of Dr Kennedy Wong and members of the Association.
Brief Introduction of Dr Kennedy Y H Wong
Dr Kennedy Y H Wong is the Managing Partner of Philip K H Wong, Kennedy Y H Wong & Co., Solicitors & Notaries, a solicitors' firm headquartered in Hong Kong with offices in Beijing and Shanghai and affiliates in over 50 other cities in the world through the International Lawyers Group. The firm's Shanghai office opened in 1992 and was the first foreign law firm approved by the PRC Ministry of Justice.He is also a director of a number of listed companies and multinational corporations.

Being a successful solicitor and businessman, Kennedy is devoted to public and social affairs in Hong Kong and cares for national affairs in China.He served on Hong Kong's legislature from 1996 to 1998 and has been a National Committee Member of the Chinese People's Consultative Conference since 2003.He is currently Vice Chairman of the All China Youth Federation, an Executive Director of the Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Deputy Commissioner of the Civil Aid Service.

Kennedy was selected as one of the "Ten Outstanding Young Persons of Hong Kong" in 1998 and then one of the "Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World" in 2003. In recognition of his invaluable contribution to the community, he was appointed as a Justice of Peace in 2003, and awarded a Bronze Bauhinia Star Medal in 2005.
