The Professional Manager Scheme
The Professional Manager (PMgr) Scheme has been established by the Hong Kong Management Association since 2006 as a benchmark which will permit business to look at the holders of this designation with reasonable confidence as to their management ability and professionalism. The route to Professional Manager is characterized by lifelong learning and development.

The Professional Manager designation can highlight the holders commitment to continuously improving management knowledge and skills through lifelong learning. Applicants must possess recognized academic degrees or professional qualifications; a minimum of 8 years of management experience and have satisfied the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements of 40 hours over the last two years.

The Diploma in Business Management (DBM)
Established by the Hong Kong Management Association in 1982 and jointly organized with Lingnan University since 1998, the DBM programme aims to provide in-service executives and small-scale business owners who want a formal business education with in-depth and practical knowledge of the nature and scope of management. Over 6,000 students have been graduated from the programme. This year, more than 300 students successfully completed and graduated from the programme.

Business Enterprise Management Centre
The Business Enterprise Management Centre promotes better management, especially for smaller businesses, and conducts its activities in Chinese. It organizes conferences, seminars and co-ordinates the Chinese educational activities of the Association.
