Lately, AI has been the forefront in transforming the financial and banking sector, particularly in relation to innovation and automation, with the aim to reduce delay and maximise output. However, there are no concrete legislation or policy to regulate the use of AI. It may lead to various issues, including hacking. Therefore, it is important for the authorities to pass new legislation and to enforce the law. This will offer protection and promote the use of AI in general. This seminar will look at how AI is being regulated in the financial and banking sector in the UK.
