This Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme awarded by the Glyndŵr University is tailored for local corporations and professional organizations to meet the needs of their staff and members in continuing education and provide a pathway for them to pursue a higher degree, which in turn, enhances the academic standard and management competence of these organizations' workforce.
This MBA programme covers the key management concepts of the 21st century including the management of people, leadership, operations and information, accounting and finance, marketing, strategy and managing organisational change and the global economy. The programme of study covers both the domestic and global business as needed to operate at higher management levels and composes of contextualised local elements. Programme is taught by the University approved experienced lecturers who have extensive teaching and practical experiences and posses doctoral or master degrees.
This programme aims at professionals who aspire to senior management and leadership positions. This course aims to provide students with the broad understanding required to be successful in cross-functional business environments and for augmenting their skills as needed to operate at higher management levels.
Glyndŵr University carries out the double marking and the external examiner monitoring systems for the propose of upholding the student learning quality assurance, and conducts periodically rigorous and detailed assessment and joint board meetings exchange best practice in teaching.

Glyndŵr University (pronounced "glen-doo-er") in Wrexham was created out of the North East Wales Institute of Higher Education (NEWI) It can trace its origins back to 1887 with the formation of the Wrexham School of Science and Art. In 2004, NEWI became a full member of the University of Wales, having been an associate college since 1993.

The programme comprises two parts with a total of 6 taught modules in Part One and a module in Fundamentals of Research and Dissertation in Part Two. It is offered in a part-time face-to-face learning mode and can be completed in 18 months.
Part One (120 Credits)
A total of 6 taught modules, each contributes 20 credits. This part can be completed in 12 months.
Part Two (60 Credits)
Students must complete Part One in order to progress to Part Two. They will attend the module Fundamentals of Research and submit a dissertation of 20,000 words under the guidance of the assigned supervisors. This part can be completed in 6 months.

The taught modules will be assessed predominantly through individual or group assignments. However, several modules have an examination as part of the assessment procedure.
To be considered for admission to this programme, applicant must possess one of the following qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification; OR
- A relevant professional qualification; OR
- Mature students have 2 years or more managerial and professional experience.

To be considered for admission to the English Study, applicant must possess one of the following qualifications:
- Grade D in the Use of English of HKAL Examination; OR
- Level 4 or above in English language of HKDSE; OR
- C or above in English Language (Syllabus B) in HKCEE; OR
- B or above in English Language (Syllabus A) of HKCEE; OR
- IELTS 6.5 or above; OR
- Applicants whose past education within the previous 5 years has been conducted in English; OR
- Applicants whose employment experience has been gained in an English speaking environment.
The MBA programme will commence twice in a year in January and June and the deadline for applications are usually one month before commencement.
