                Founded in 1946, the University of  Worcester is renowned for its world-class teaching and practical, purposeful research. As a
                vibrant and forward-looking university, the University of Worcester is Top 3 in the UK, for quality education according to The Times
                Higher Education University Impact Ranking (2019-2021 & 2023).
                The University of  Worcester has been named the UK’s top sustainable university.  It was named Sustainability Institution of the
                Year at the Green Gown Awards in 2019.  It was also awarded First Class Honours – for the 11th consecutive year – in the People
                and  Planet  University  League  in  2019.   In  2017,  the  University  also  received  a silver award  in  the Teaching Excellence  Framework
                (TEF) which is awarded to institutions that deliver high-quality teaching and excellent learning outcomes for its students and
                consistently exceed rigorous national quality requirements to UK higher education.
