Organized by the Sales and Marketing Executives (SME) Club of The Hong Kong Management Association, the results of the 32nd Distinguished Salesperson Award (DSA) were announced on Friday, 9 June 2000 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The results were as follows:

In addition, Mr Chester Tsang, Human Resources Manager, Hospital Authority, has been awarded the Best Presentation Award. The Award recipient was selected by all the participants of the seminar. The winner of the Most Innovative Award this year is "The e-trategy and Learning System in the Housing Authority", by the Hong Kong Housing Authority.

Presentation Ceremony of the Award will be held in September 2000 at the Fifteenth Susan Yuen Memorial Lecture.

The Award for Excellence in Training was introduced by The Hong Kong Management Association in 1990 with the aim of giving public recognition to trainers and companies for the contribution that training can make to corporate results.

The Board of Examiners this year include: Mr Patrick Maule (Chairman), Director, Aon Consulting Hong Kong Ltd; Mrs Esther Chan, General Manager - Human Resources, Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation; Mr Steve Chow, Customer Services Manager (Property), The Hong Kong Jockey Club; Mr Graham Higgins, Manager, Learning and Development Group, Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd; Ms Wendy Mak; and Mr William Ng, Director, Civil Service Training and Development Institute.

The Panel of Adjudicators this year comprises: Mr Peter Barrett, Managing Director, Organisation Development Ltd; Ms Ella Chan, Assistant Director, Civil Service Training and Development Institute; Mr Peter Lau, Chairman and Chief Executive, Giordano International Ltd; Dr Kim Mak, Executive Director, Corporate Development, The Hong Kong Jockey Club; and Dr Iain McCormick, Executive Director, Aon Consulting Hong Kong Ltd.

The Award this year is main-sponsored by Hang Seng Bank, Hsin Chong Real Estate Management Ltd and sponsored by Aon Consulting (Human Resource Consulting) and Sino Group.
