CLP Holdings Ltd won the Best Report Award of the 2009 Best Annual Reports Awards organized by the Hong Kong Management Association and co-organized by the South China Morning Post. The Panel of Adjudicators commended it as "an outstanding report which continues its remarkable record for excellence in all aspects."

The Awards presentation ceremony was held on Monday, 2 November, at the Island Shangri-La Hotel. This year, a total of 121 reports (83 from General, 24 from Non-profit Making and Charitable Organizations categories and 14 reports from the constituents of the Hang Seng Index) were reviewed by the Panel of Adjudicators.
An exhibition organized by the Association will be held to publicly display all the 107 annual reports. Details are as follows:
