The Hong Kong Management Association held its 52nd Annual General meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, 9 July 2013 at its Headquarters. Dr Dennis Sun BBS JP, Chairman of the Association reported that at the end of the year 2012, the Association comprised close to 11,000 members and ran over 2,000 programmes, courses, seminars, and so forth; and attracted over 42,000 participants. He extended his sincere thanks to members of the Council and all Committees for their continuous support for making the Association a flourish success.

Dr Dennis Sun said, "Corporate governance is at the core of every organization, regardless of its size. A sound corporate governance system is crucial to public confidence in an organization, risk management and better decision making. We note the pressing need to promote this concept among our members and the business communities both in Hong Kong and the Mainland."

At the Annual General Meeting, ten Council Members were elected or re-elected. They are:
