Mr Peter Wong JP, Chief Executive, The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd delivered a speech on "Managing for Change: Hong Kong and the New Global Economy" to over 530 guests on Friday, 27 September 2013 at the 28th Susan Yuen Memorial Lecture and Dinner organized by the Association.
The Presentation Ceremony of the Award for Excellence in Training and Development 2013 was also held during the occasion. Winners of Campaign and Individual Awards were presented with trophies and certificates by the Dr Dennis Sun BBS JP, Chairman of the Association; Mr Alfred Chan BBS, Deputy Chairman of the Association; Mr Y P Pang JP, Chairman of the 2013 Theme Year Working Party; Mr S K Cheong, Dr Albert Ma as well as Dr Kelvin Wong, who are Executive Committee and Council Members of the Association.

Theme Year Working Party
Since 1985, the Association has introduced a theme year concept to its work in order to bring greater focus to various management activities. Susan Yuen Memorial Lecture
Organized by the Association`s Theme Year Working Party since 1985, the Susan Yuen Memorial Lecture is one of the highlights of the Association`s whole year activities aiming to recognize the contribution of the late Mrs Susan Yuen to Hong Kong`s business community. This special event will raise funds for the Susan Yuen Fellowship and Research Foundation to provide scholarships for in-service executives to attend short and practical courses.
