2013 ANNUAL CONFERENCE ON
"SECURING THE FUTURE: CHANGE, GROWTH AND SUSTAINABILITY"

The 2013 HKMA Annual Conference was successfully held on 12 November 2013 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and attracted around 400 senior executives. The Conference brought together prominent business leaders who shared with participants their invaluable insight under the theme of "Securing the Future: Change, Growth and Sustainability".

Dr Dennis Sun BBS JP, Chairman of the Association in his Opening Address pointed out that the global economy appears to be more stable as major crises and risks have receded, but global growth is projected to remain subdued. Under this circumstance, finding a promising and sustainable path has become a new challenge for businesses.

In the Closing Address, Mr Jay H Walder, Chairman, Conference Organizing Committee; and Chief Executive, MTR Corporation believed the Conference has been extremely insightful as the speakers have addressed the most important subjects that allow participants to grasp some of the key issues and ideas about sustaining business growth in face of challenges.
