Professor Tony Chan, President of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology delivered a speech on "Nurturing Human Capital for Dynamic Growth - The Right Minds for The Right Time" to over 500 guests on Wednesday, 10 September 2014 at the 29th Susan Yuen Memorial Lecture and Dinner organized by The Hong Kong Management Association.
The Presentation Ceremony of the Award for Excellence in Training and Development 2014 was also held during the occasion. Winners of Campaign and Individual Awards were presented with trophies and certificates by Mr Alfred Chan BBS, Chairman of the Association; Professor Tony Chan; The Hon Eddie Ng SBS JP, Secretary for Education of the Government of HKSAR and Keynote Speaker of Final Presentation Seminar of the Award for Excellence in Training and Development 2014; Mr John Slosar, Council Member and Dr Ritchie Bent, Chairman of Human Resources Development Management Committee of the Association.

Susan Yuen Memorial Lecture
Organized by the Association`s Theme Year Working Party since 1985, the Susan Yuen Memorial Lecture is one of the highlights of the Association`s whole year activities aiming to recognize the contribution of the late Mrs Susan Yuen to Hong Kong`s business community. This special event will raise funds for the Susan Yuen Fellowship and Research Foundation to provide scholarships for in-service executives to attend short and practical courses.
